The Penguins room provides a nurturing and enabling environment where children aged 2–4 years learn through play and exploration.
Penguins
We offer funded nursery education for 3 to 4 year olds, as well as for eligible 2 year olds. Families who qualify can also benefit from extended government-funded places through the 15 Hours Funding scheme.
Our aim is to create an enjoyable, welcoming, and stimulating setting where children can thrive. Through imaginative play, creative thinking, and real-life experiences – such as learning about the life cycle of a butterfly – children’s natural curiosity is encouraged and nurtured.
We plan child-centered activities tailored to each child’s stage of development, supporting early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. We also help children gain independence and self-confidence by introducing practical life skills, such as cooking.
Throughout the day, children are encouraged to interact with kindness, respect, and cooperation, helping them build strong social skills and positive relationships with others.
Daily Routine
The Penguins group runs Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. You create your child’s timetable from the different session we offer. Please refer to the Sessions page for more information.
Lunch
Catered lunch is included in the Lunch session.
